    Abstract:

< Zheng > the patient, a 42 year old male, was found to have a tumor on the upper neck near the medial edge of the mandibular angle in October 2023, without conscious pain, tenderness, itching and other discomfort. Color Doppler ultrasound was performed in the 940 Hospital of the joint service support force of the Chinese people's Liberation Army to indicate lymph node enlargement. Considering that it was caused by upper respiratory tract infection, the tumor did not become smaller after taking amoxicillin according to the doctor's advice for half a month, so the drug was stopped automatically. Then he went to the outside hospital for color Doppler ultrasound to suggest a solid space occupying lesion above the left carotid bifurcation. CT showed a 4 cm × 3 cm tumor on the inner side of the left mandibular angle. For further diagnosis and treatment, he went to the 940 Hospital of the joint service support force of the Chinese people's Liberation Army on December 22, 2023.
