Objective:Based on Academician Tong Xiaolin's academic thought of"differentiation and treatment of state and tar-get",to observe the effect of Xuanfei Pingchuan Decoction in treating COPD with phlegm-turbidity obstructing lung syndrome.Meth-ods:60 patients with COPD were selected and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine,and other group was given Xuanfei Pingchuan decoction on this basis.The TCM syndrome score,lung function,blood gas analysis and the mMRC were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,mMRC score,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC indexes of lung function,PaO2 and PaCO2 indexes of blood gas analysis in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclu-sion:According to the"differentiation and treatment of state target",Xuanfei Pingchuan Decoction has a remarkable effect on COPD by modulated targeting.It can obviously reduce the clinical symptoms of patients,increase the activity endurance,improve the quality of life,and delay the progression of the disease.
